A balcony is a podium on the exterior of a house, enclosed by walls or balustrades, supported by columns or console brackets. The platform is projecting from the wall of a constructing, generally above the ground floor. Balconies are usually tiny and are not utilized as public areas or for activity reasons. Often balcony imitate the style on the front of the house.
